FOOTBALL: Shane Ferguson to present prizes at Maiden City Cup

Fresh from Euro 2016 Northern Ireland international Shane Ferguson will be attending tomorrow's Maiden City Cup competition, has been switched to the Vale Centre, Greysteel.

This years tournament will be over two days starting tomorrow morning for the Under 9’s (2007) and Sunday for the under 10’s (2006).

The tournament is not only an excellent weekend of football but it is also to raise money for Autism Support Groups and raise awareness of autism.

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them.

Please note, with the competition now switched from Lisneal College, both astro turf and grass pitches will be used so the kids will need both football boots and trainers.
