Former headmaster Robin scoops the jackpot

Having recently retired as Headmaster of Portglenone Primary School, Robin McClintock (B068) has heard the term ‘Please Sir’ over many years.

Many Ballymena fans have been pupils of Robin over the years. This week saw Robin scoop a Sports Bond Jackpot of £150 with the numbers 20, 22, 24 and 26, remarkably this year has seen two £1000 Jackpots followed by two £150 Jackpots. Congratulations to Robin on his retirement and on his Jackpot win. Now, for the second Sports Bond week in a row all the £50 major prizes have been won by lady members.

Also for the second week in a row Maurice Anderson was agent of the week with double winners, a £50 win for Lorna Forrester (A4147) and a £10 win for Ann Johnston (A0276). Also for the second week in a row a £50 winner on the agency of Tommy Matthews in Glenwherry with Esther Cahoon (B7939). In Kells Andrew Boyd had a £50 major winner with Ann Service (C9170). The remaining £10 winners were Antrim man Dean Paine (A2886) on the agency of Alastair Shaw and back in Kells in his third week as a member a £10 win for Cliff Duijvestyn (B7849) on the agency of Graham McCartney. Ballymena United stalwart Trevor Robinson was the First Score winner at Seaview on Saturday. Trevor had the winning 14 minute First Score card and picks up £30.

With two more away games there is every chance to have another winner soon.

This year it will be a New Year Draw on 1st January 2016. First Prize has seen support from club sponsors McCurdy Fuels who will supply and deliver 500L of home heating oil. Second prize will be £100 sponsored by Sports Bond which will be doubled if won by a current paid up Sports Bond member. As ever there is a vast array of wonderful supporting prizes.
