Galgorm man scoops £750 Bond jackpot

TWO WEEKS ago the Jackpot of £650 on Sports Bond was allocated, but the member was not paid up.

However, this week Galgorm man Samuel (Uel) Bamber scooped the 750 jackpot with numbers 3, 6, 11, 28. Uel joined Sports Bond two years ago after his young son was a mascot. Uel joined to support the Club he follows and now that has proved to be a very rewarding decision. Uel, a Wrights employee is a member of Leslie Kinnear’s agency, and also wins for Leslie a bonus of 75. Congratulations to Uel, and well done Leslie.

It was an excellent week for Galgorm at the Galgorm & Gracehill Senior Citizens Club had a winner, and another well known Ballymena supporter at that, Maurice Gibson (A3291). Maurice is also the Grandfather of Sports Bond agent, Luke Gaston.

In the week the jackpot was won, another previous jackpot winner, Charlotte Stevenson (B8666) was a 50 major winner at the Candy Bar.

The Development Committee had a 50 winner with Mina Lynch (A3696) in Ballyclare.

The remaining 50 major winner was also a previous multiple winner Jim Ross (A8450), who now lives in Killyless, Cullybackey.

In the 10 minor section, Philip McBurney (A6593) was a winner on Boyd Douglas’s agency. In Glenwherry, John Cahoon (B9184) was a 10 winner on the agency of John Davison. Down the road in Kells, Reid McAuley had a 10 winner with Grandfather, Eric Greenwood (A9250). In Ballymena, Melinda Orr (A6700) was a winner on the agency of Don Stirling.

Only one consolation winner this week saw 15 for Una Martin (C3696) on the agency of Geoff Cooke in Ballykeel.

So with the second jackpot of the year allocated, the jackpot returns to 100 for this week’s draw.

First Score

As yet, no one has claimed the fourth minute card for Steven Gerard’s strike against the USA on Saturday. The winner will collect 30. The next first score will be for the England –v- Algeria game on Friday.
