Meanwhile, Carniny Rangers' Junior Shield semi-final this Thursday night has been postponed by the Co Antrim FA as Carniny await a Ruling by the IFA at the Ballymena club's request on the eligibility of a player who played in the Junior Cup.

Randalstown Sky Blues 1, Harryville Homers 2: Homers had to come from a goal down against Sky Blues to take all three points and remain at the summit of Division One.

Sky Blues were give a great opportunity to take the lead 10 minutes before the break when Randal Reid was fouled in the box and a penalty was given, but Scott Bruce stepped up and fired his spot kick wide of the post.

The second half was much like the first until it sprung into life just after the hour mark when Randal Reid was again fouled in the Homers box and a penalty was awarded. This time Randal Reid hit the spot kick and he made no mistake in giving his side the lead.

Homers pushed an extra man up front to try and rescue the game and this paid dividends with 20 minutes to go as they drew level. Jason Stevenson raced down the left and crossed for Gary Baird swivelled and fired home from just inside the box.

Ahoghill Thistle 1, Connor FC 1: Jason McFadden headed an injury time equaliser to ensure a share of the points for the home side and dent Connor's bid for the second division title.

Chances were at a premium during the first period with neither side able to take control of the game and defences firmly on top.

It was however as Thistle pushed forward, that Connor won possession and swiftly moved the ball through the midfield to David Trainor whose defence splitting pass was coolly met by Mark Marriott with a left foot shot which found the net to put the visitors one up on the half hour. Connor should have doubled their lead when Mark Marriott again found himself well placed in the penalty area, but his snap-shot was straight at Thistle keeper Ricky Tennant and easily saved.

The game was heading to injury time, with the visitors looking like taking all the points when Chris Duff swung over a dangerous free kick from the Thistle left which Jason McFadden cleverly flicked the ball on and his header ended up in the back of the net to ensure Thistle took a deserved point.

BSML DIVISION THREE

Cullybackey Olympic 1, Demesne Star 2: This looked a banker for Cullybackey in their pursuit of a play-off place but Demesne produced the shock of the day to collect all three points .

In the first half chances came and went at both ends before Demesne Star stunned the home side by taking the lead in the 38th minute when David Connaughty lobbed the ball in behind the Cullybackey defence and Michael Ross decisively applied the finish with a dipping half volley. In the 70th minute Gareth Moody went down in the Demesne penalty box after a clumsy challenge by a Star defender and Chris Coulter despatched the resultant spot kick.

After 75 minutes a high ball into the Cullybackey penalty area was nodded into space by Star's Stuart MacCartney and from an acute angle his well struck shot found the inside of the back post to make it 2-1.

This set up an exciting finish and Demesne just about held on for only their second win in the league this season.
