‘Gers trial for Carniny ace
CARNINY Youth Under-15 player Jonathan Cummings already knows what he’s getting for Christmas this year!
The Slemish College pupil has landed himself a trial with Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers over the holiday period.
Striker Jonathan plies his trade for Carniny Youth in the NIBFA National League and although his team are going through a tough time in the top division of the League, Jonathan’s form has not been affected as he obviously has been impressing the Rangers scouting staff who have watched Jonathan on several occasions.
He received the invitation last weekend and was delighted by the news, as are all the coaching staff at Carniny.
Jonathan has been the leading goal scorer for his team over the last two seasons.
