Gibson wins international award
MANCHESTER United midfielder Darron Gibson was awarded the FAI Young International Player of the Year, at last night's awards ceremony, in Dublin.
The Londonderry man made his mark with both Giovanni Trapattoni's side and the Red Devils last season.
Former Sligo Rovers and now Everton full-back Seamus Coleman captured the Under 21 award, while Tottenham Hotspur striker Robbie Keane collected the FAI International Player of the Year.
