Glenavon launch new 301 club draw

Glenavon have launched a new fund-raising scheme - the ‘301’ Club Draw.

The top prize is £1,000 and tickets are now on sale, priced at just £10. The first draw will take place on Saturday 21st September and three more draws will take place over the course of the season, tickets against costing £10 each. The draw will take the place of the Century Club.

Meanwhile, there will be a collection at Saturday’s game against Glentoran to help finance a permanent security fence at the Crescent End, blocking a path to the Glenfield Road stand where visiting supporters sit.

There has previously been scenes of violence between opposition supporters using the route between the two stands. Consequently, the fence is vital to maximising Glenavon’s permitted capacity with respect to health and safety regulations.

Season tickets can be purchased from the club office any weekday morning from 9am to 12noon and also on Thursday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Glenavon FC Academy is running an English Premier League ‘Last Man Standing’ competition. It kicks off this Saturday (17th August). Full details can be found at www.glenavonfc.com/LastManStanding. Entries can now be made online via the link.
