He made a crucial save in the dreaded penalty shoot-out to give his side the spoils.

Earlier the game with Armagh City Reserves finished 0-0 after 90 minutes and extra-time before it went down to penalties.

Dollingstown kept their nerve and scored all their five penalties and Gavin’s save from Armagh’s fifth penalty saw the cup go back to Planters Park.

On the league front, Dollingstown Reserves have been awarded three points for the game against Banbridge which did not take place.
