Goalkeeping Academy at Taylor’s Avenue

The former Ards man, who coaches with the Northern Ireland Goalkeeping Academy, is calling on all local keepers to get their gloves on and enjoy the fun at the 3G pitch.

There will be an introductory session on Sunday, October 13 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Parents and goalkeepers should arrive at 10 am to register (£15).

Dougherty said all goalkeepers who register will be supplied with a free training top, water bottle and USB wristband which is pre-loaded with coaching videos, nutritional and fitness advice, and much more.

The cost of the six-week course, which begins on the 20th October is £60. However, in association with Carrick Rangers FC, all who register on October 13 will be eligible for a half-price offer.
