Going international at Knockramer Park with soccer event

The event, oranised by local man Karol Gallagher, includes a football match and fun day activities for children.

The Timor Cultural Festival Celebration is being staged to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the restoration of independence.

The match features Sport Loriko Timor versus Union Lusa FC.

The event starts at 11am with games for children, floating castle and facepainting.

At midday there will be football for the children with qualified coaches.

The big match kicks off at 2.30pm.

Other activities include traditional games and refreshments will be available all day.

Karol passed his thanks to Oxford/Sunnyside for hosting the event.
