Good results 'on the road' for Carniny sides

THE Ballymena 'Reds' were certainly on their travels on Saturday although it all proved worthwhile with the 15s winning 4-1 at Limavady whilst the 14s won 5-1 following their long trek to Fermanagh to take on Ballinamallard, all part and parcel of playing in Northern Ireland's 'elite' National League.

The relatively short journey to Belfast therefore completed the away day glee with an easy victory over Red Star for the 16s.

Cliftonville were the visitors to Ballykeel to take on the 12s and 13s and left with maximum points although the 13s in particular will feel themselves unlucky not to have taken something from the game having looked for long periods the far better side.
