Junior One: Woodlands had to settle for a share of the spoils in 10-goal thriller with Carnmoney FC. Alex Haggan (3) and Jonny Parkes (2) were on target in Saturday’s 5-5 draw at Woodburn.

Elsewhere, Castle Star lost 4-2 at home to Desertmartin at Taylor’s Avenue 3G pitch.

Junior Two: Ryan Clarke scored AFC Carrick’s only goal in their 3-1 defeat away to pace-setters Moyola Park Olympic. Michael Clarke (two) and Darren Scullion found the net for the league leaders.

Junior Three: 1st Carrickfergus Old Boys claimed the bragging rights with a 3-0 derby day win over Red Star.

Andrew McIlwrath’s 20th-minute strike separated the teams at half-time, before Stuart Pettinger doubled their advantage in the 66th minute. John Keys made sure of the three points when he struck in the 75th minute to seal the win.

Carrick Swifts struggled against visitors Newington YC II who ran out 9-1 winners.

Junior Four: AFC Carrick Reserves were hit for six at home to Forthriver FC. Three first-half goals from John Morris, Graham Orr and Brian Shaw put the visitors in the driving seat before the Carrick pulled one back. Morris netted number four then Alan McVeigh and Graham McFarlane rounded things off.

A Jonny Robb hat-trick gave Krag Albion a 3-1 win over Glengormley United - a valuable points in their quest for promotion.
