Half-fit McCrudden continues to shine for Waterside men

He feels that one of last season’s big players Michael McCrudden deserves credit as he continues to play through the pain barrier.

“Look we probably need to be more ruthless in both boxes, but McCrudden is a work in progress, but to be fair to him he’s only 50 per cent fit and he’s playing,” he stated.

“(Robbie) Hume is coming on well and he had a decent game on Saturday, Stephen Curry has been up and down this last while, but we asked him to do a job on the left because of Billy Joe Burns’ threat.

“Jamie McIntyre came into the squad and we also brought on another young player in Jordan Armstrong and they are learning.

“The players have been giving their best efforts, they have trained really well all season.”
