Harryville Homers dismissed from Junior Shield

HARRYVILLE Homers have been dismissed from the Paddy Power County Antrim Junior Shield after having been found to have played ineligible players in the competition.

Following a meeting of the County Antrim Junior Shield Committee last night (Wednesday), the committee released the following statement: “Having considered evidence sought from Harryville Homers, it was deemed that the club had played ineligible players in the semi final of the competition.

“Harryville Homers were removed from the current competition and debarred from competing for the next three seasons.

“Basement YM have been reinstated. The date and venue of the final between Valley Rangers and Basement YM will be confirmed as soon as practicable.”
