Homers and Carniny reach Junior Shield final
THE dream all-Ballymena Saturday Morning League County Antrim Junior Shield final is all systems go!
Both Harryville Homers and Carniny Rangers won their respective semi-finals to set up the eagerly-awaited showdown.
Homers defeated Basement 3-1 on Tuesday night, while Carniny thrashed Valley Rangers 4-0 the following evening. Full reports and picture coverage of both matches will appear in this Tuesday’s Ballymena Times (March 27).
The clamour has now begun for County Antrim Football Association chiefs to play the match at Ballymena Showgrounds on Wednesday, May 2.
