“Maurice Omollo was heading back out to his homeland and asked me if I had any old kit that I could donate to the young footballers out there.

“I have met Maurice quite a few times a at differnet church events so I was delighted to be able to help out.

“I have sent stuff out before and wanted to do it again.

“Over the last few seasons I have built up a lot fo old training gear, bags and boots, which had been just sitting in a box in my house and getting no use at all.

“So it’s great to be able to pass this gear on to people who really appreciate it.

“It’s better people getting use out of the kit and boots rather than them sitting gathering dust somehwere.

“I’m delighted to be able to play a small part in all this. Things like this cost absolutely nothing but I know mean absolutely everything to those who receive the football kit and equipment.

“It’s nice to know that you can make a small difference to someone’s life just by making a small gesture like this.
