Rathfriland were the first to get on the scoresheet with a well taken goal from Cameron Beacom-Hurle.

Despite further chances at either end the score remained the same at half time.

Not long into the second half Banbridge Town’s Cameron Sands, with the help of a deflection, brought the score to all level.

The score was 1-1 at full time.

Extra time could not separate these two and it was all down to penalties.

Even after five penalties it was all even, so it went to the dreaded sudden death and it was Rathfriland who emerged winners after a great save from Johnney Cartmill to send his players, coaches and supporters wild.

Rathfriland will either play Dungannon or Lurgan Celtic in the final.

Well done Rathfriland.
