INSTITUTE: Darryl McDermott happy after cup win
Depsite winning defender Darryl McDermott wasn't best pleased with Institute's overall display against Newington.
The big centre-back, who was given his first start in a few months, admitted that in recent weeks the Waterside men have played better.
Nevertheless McDermott did concede that he and his team-mates were happy to maintain their recent good form and they know they’ll have to raise their game for the next outing, which again takes place at Drumahoe when they face Dergview on Tuesday night.
McDermott spoke to Kevin McLaughlin after their Intermediate Cup extra-time win over the Belfast side.
