The teenager hit the woodwork at Glentoran on Saturday and at times his running ability at the Glens defence had them panicking.

Despite this Kee believed the midfielder could have been more positive and wants him to have more influence in games.

“Ben is an attacked minded player and he needs to do more of those type of runs but he’s definitely one for the future,” stated Kee.

“He’s a talented boy, but he sets his standards high and we are going to set the standards even higher for him because we feel he can raise those standards.

“He did alright, but in the first half I was disappointed with his performance, he didn’t do enough, I said that to him at half-time and in fairness that’s the nature of the game we are having to be demanding of our young.

“Yes he did go on one run in the second half where he went past a few people but he needs to be more consistent with his link-up play and his passing.”
