Dunne, who scored the visitor’s crucial second goal right on the stroke of half-time, moved back into left-back in the second half, as boss Kevin Deery had to reshuffle his line-up.

The talented left-winger, slotted into defence after Mark Scotlock had to be replaced because of a neck injury, played like a modern day full back, galloping up and down the wing in the second half and also made a few challenges.

Dunne spoke to Kevin McLaughlin after their victory at the Dub.
