Irish Junior Cup draw

THE Coca Cola Irish Junior Cup First round draw has taken place and once again a host of North West Junior sides will be hoping to lift the prestigious trophy.

The first round ties have been split over two weeks, with Premier Division champions Newtowne travelling to Donaghadee, on Saturday, September 18.

Other interesting ties for North West clubs on that date sees Claudy United visit Hanover, Maghera Strollers hosting Kilrea United, Roe Rovers entertain The Dons, Sion Swifts face AFC Craigavon Reserves and Foyle Wanderers are away to Aghadowey.

On Saturday, September 25, Tullyally Colts travel to St Matthews, Greysteel come up against Downpatrick II, Drummond United place Malachians II and BBOB visit Sporting Lisburn.

All ties will kick-off at 2pm and will be played to a finish with extra-time and penalties used if necessary.
