Junior Girls make history at MUSA tournament

Moyola Park Football Club made history on Saturday in fielding a Junior Girls team at the NIWFA Junior Girls Round Robin Tournament held at Mid-Ulster Sports Arena.

This is the second girls team at Moyola Park who are proud that they have progressed with a Junior Team thanks to the hard work of Valerie Martin which is fed through from the girls section of the Football Development Centre.

Coach Geoff Burns was pleased at this first time performance by these young girls and has no doubt they will go from strength to strength, the junior girls being a progression into the Senior Ladies team.

Julie Ann Beatty scored the only goal for Moyola Park Junior Girls who had chances throughout the game.
