Oran Kearney praised the young players on their inclusion and said it was just reward for their efforts.

“This is a fantastic honour for both Brad and Lyndon, and as a club we are absolute delighted for them,” he said.

“For them to have made it through the selection process to be part of the squad speaks volumes about them and what we are doing here at the club.

“It highlights the developmental work being done by Johnny Law and the rest of the coaches at Colts and Reserve team level, and shows it is paying off.

“Lyndon made the breakthrough to the first team earlier this season and hasn’t looked out of place. His performances have been phenomenal, he looks so comfortable playing at this level and he has a very bright future ahead of him.

“Brad is the same. We have worked with him since he came to the club and you can see there is a very talented footballer in there.

“He has a great attitude and wants to learn and get even better, which is terrific for a young player.

“Just like Lyndon we have rewarded him by giving him his chance in the first team and the potential there is fantastic, he has slotted right into senior football with no difficulty at all.

“As I say I am delighted for them as they work so hard and have earned this international call up for their performances this season.

“This is a massive boost for everyone at the club.”
