The Drumahoe club currently sit two points ahead of Rangers and a point behind leaders Bangor, but Kee also concedes that the home side to know how just how important tonight’s game is in terms of the title.

“We just have to treat tonight’s game like a cup final,” he insisted.

“Now Carrick will be saying the same, because there’s virtually a winner takes all prize, so it really is a massive game.

“The next match is our most important and that’s Carrick tonight, so I’m not bothered about the Limavady United, until after this evening.

“Because you don’t know, you could be going into that game either points behind Carrick or Bangor, so I’m only focusing on the Carrick game.”

Although a draw this evening would virtually guarantee at least a promotion play-off game against Ards, three points from Taylor’s Avenue is what Kee wants.

“A draw would be suffice but at the same time if we want to try and win the league, we need to win the game and that’s what we’ll be trying to do.

“However Carrick are obviously back at their home ground now and they’ll be buoyed by the result that they got on Saturday, beating a Knockbreda side who have been in fine form wouldn’t have been an easy feat.

“But it’s all about consistency and who has got the nerve at this minute in time and that’s what we need to produce tonight.”
