Killymoon welcomes new manager

Killymoon Rangers are continuing with their preseason training every Tuesday and Thursday night 7pm to 9pm at the Sports Arena.

The squad headed to the sand dunes at Portrush on Saturday, as they continue to build up their fitness for the start of the season.

The first friendly is at home to Coleraine on Tuesday 16th July at the Sports Arena, kick off 8pm. Stuarty Glasgow, ex Cookstown Youths and Killymoon Rangers player, will line out against his former club. Under 16’s are free when accompanied by an adult. A Killymoon select will play Tyrone Milk Cup Team on Saturday 20th July, grass pitch 5 at the Sports Arena.

Killymoon Rangers have appointed Michael Mc Neill as manager of Killymoon Rangers Reserves, and Michelle West as physio.

Michael has started to work with 1st team manager George Dardis, and will be in charge of a Killymoon Select team on Saturday 20th July, with one team in action against Stevie Hunter’s Milk cup squad, the other team will play a friendly in Limavady.

Killymoon Rangers have signed Edison Cunha, Drew Kelly, James Leslie, Gareth Ramsey, and Matthew Rainey from Cookstown Youths. Manager George Dardis has been very busy, and has brought several old boys back to the club ( full details later ), as he prepares for the opening fixture of the new season, away to Lurgan Celtic on Saturday 10th August.
