Lafferty in Fergie out
FORMER Derry City defender Daniel Lafferty has been called into Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifier against Portugal in Porto, next Tuesday night.
The Burnley left-back along with Lee Hodson and Rory McArdle have been drafted in, after Eglinton man Shane Ferguson, Lafferty’s team-mate at Turf Moor Martin Paterson, Joe Dudgeon and James McPake all pulled out of the squad.
