Larmour and Dick stalling on Inver deals, says Millar

BECAUSE of their ambitions to play in the Premiership, experienced duo Adam Dick and Davy Larmour have yet to commit to Larne for another season, and Inver Park boss Paul Millar revealed he won’t lose any sleep if they don’t wear the club colours again.

“They are both stalling on putting pen to paper in the hope that Premiership football beckons for them. I have offered them contracts and the ball’s in their court now, so I’m just waiting to what happens.

“If top-flight clubs were keen on signing either of them, I would have had interest, probably back in January, and certainly since the season ended. But not one enquiry has been made about any of my players from any Premier League manager.

“So I’ve almost been resigning myself to the fact that I’ll be without this pair and I don’t mind because I want to place my trust in the younger players because they are our future. And I do think that I have got cover for them.”
