Leaders aim to bounce back in City Cup tie

There was a shock in the Premier Division when Newbuildings United Reserves losta 3-2 to Donemana.

BBOB remain unbeaten after a 4-1 win at Drummond, Tullyally defeated Ballykelly 3-1 while Dungiven Reserves shocked Lincoln Courts with a 3-1 away win.

The City Cup takes centre stage this Saturday while there are two games in the Premier Division.

City Cup

Lincoln Courts v Tullyally

The Courts are on a bad run and they must get their act together right away if they are not going to slide further down the table, this is a cup they would dearly love to win.

Tullyally have put up a couple of good performances recently and played well in last weeks win over Ballykelly, they may continue their good run.

Prediction: Tullyally.

Ardmore v Ballykelly

Ardmore boss Damien McGee will want to go all the way in this competition, this season so far have seen them not playing at their best in some games.

Ballykelly are going through a bit of a form slump, they have the talent but are not producing the goods on the field, they may lose again.

Newbuildings United Res v Artigarvan

This is a bit of a local derby, the home side were shell shocked to lose to Donemana last week so they will want to get back to winning ways in this one.

The visitors are a mostly all local side who are having a reasonable season however it would be a big shock if they were to win.

Caw v Irish Street

Caw will know that they are going to have to improve from last week if they are going to progress in this competition, they are blowing a bit hot and cold.

Irish Street will travel with plenty of confidence, they have already proved this season that they wouldn’t be out of place in the top division.

BBOB v Donemana

The Old Boys have opened up a gap at the top of the table and are playing like potential champions, still unbeaten and playing with great confidence.

Donemana caused a bit of a shock last week which will have given them confidence, however this looks to be to tall an order.

Drummond v Dungiven Reserves

The Roesiders after a couple of good performances have lost their way a bit in recent games, they know that they must start picking up points.

Dungiven had an excellent win at Lincoln Courts last week which shows when at full strength they are capable of getting results.
