LIMAVADY UNITED 0 CARRICK RANGERS 5

Carrick Rangers eased to a 5-0 win over 10-man Limavady United this afternoon.

Championship 1’s basement club were no match for Gary Haveron’s men as the visitors stormed into a three-goal lead inside the opening 35 minutes.

Jody Lynch continued his recent goalscoring exploits netting the opener with 14 minutes on the clock, before left-back Aiden O’Kane took full advantage of some poor United defending at a corner to lash in number two.

Richard Gibson put the Gers on easy street when he scored number three 10 minutes before the break.

Limavady were then left with a mountain to climb in the second session when Ryan Mullan was given his marching orders by referee Stephen Wallace.

And their was more misery for the home side when Anto Lagan came off the bench to make it 4-0, before Gibson rounded things off with his second of the afternoon.
