Under 17s 3

Hillsborough Boys captured a fine 3-2 away win against Banbridge Rangers Under 17s at Havelock Park in a Lisburn League game.

Hillsborough had gained their 2-0 advantage by half time and it needed a change in personnel and shape to get Rangers back into the game in the second half. Several inswinging corners from Rangers proved to be the key with Bradley Harper volleying in one from close range midway through the half. Three minutes afterwards another corner was sent in by Dodds and Ryan Woods rose highest to powerfully head in to make it 2-2.

As the home side pushed for a winner they were caught on the counter attack by Hillsborough with their striker finding the top corner from 20 yards with a superb curling effort worthy of taking the points.
