Local derby on NewYears Eve

COAGH United will take on Killymoon Rangers at Hagan Park, Coagh on Saturday 31st December at 2pm. This will be Brian Megarry first return to Hagan Park as a Manager. The ex Coagh forward brings Killymoon to Coagh full of confidence and will be hoping to put one over his old side after taking all three points of Ballymoney just before the break.

Coagh go into the game with a severe lack of football. The Hagan Park side were due to play Knockbreda away the Saturday before Christmas but Knockbreda got caught up in a back log of Cup fixtures leaving Coagh with two week break, not the best preparation for a derby fixture.

This pressure fixture will not be all about the bragging rights, both teams badly need the points. Killymoon have climbed 6 points clear of the drop zone and will want to extend that lead while Coagh will want to keep the pressure on the chasing pack by bagging another three points to stay top.

Kick off 2pm at Hagan Park Coagh.
