Martin's men win again

Drumahoe...3Gransha...1

DRUMAHOE entertained Gransha at the YMCA fields on Saturday morning and the first half was a very scrappy affair with neither team getting to grips with the uneven pitch.

With Gransha playing a very high line Drumahoe were time and time again caught offside. The first half ended with neither keeper having to make a save.

Terry Martin's men began to take control of the game and missed a couple of chances with Ross and Martin going close. Gransha had a great chance when Mark Simpson broke through and had a great strike saved by Mitchell in the Drumahoe goal.

On 75 minutes Allen broke from midfield evaded a couple of challenges and passed the ball into the net from 20 yards with Scroggy in the Gransha goal caught in no man's land to give Drumahoe the lead.
