McCourt released by Barnsley

Northern Ireland international Paddy McCourt was one of a number of players released by Barnsley.

Paddy McCourt hasn't been offered a new deal with League One side Barnsley.

The Yorkshire men, who were relegated from the Championship, have decided to not offer the former Derry City man a new deal.

And also out of the exit door are Kelvin Etuhu, Martin Woods, ex-Arsenal starlet Emmanuel Frimpong and former Republic of Ireland international Liam Lawrence.
