Meet the players aiming to bring the Harry Cavan Youth Cup to Ballymena

Here, Times Sport gives you a player-by-player guide to the boys aiming to bring the trophy back to the Showgrounds.

Bradley Carson (Goalkeeper, age 18): Out for most of the season with cruciate ligament injury but has worked hard to get back.

Owen Best (Goalkeeper, age 17): Has enjoyed a good end to the season and will be pushing cup a cup final start.

Callum McCabe (Goalkeeper, age 16): Promoted from United’s under-17s, he as done well. Younger brother of former first team striker James McCabe.

Josh Corry (Centre-back/full-back, 18): Signed for his hometown club from Crusaders last season. Man of the match in quarter-final win after scoring twice.

Bradley Woods (Left-back, 17): Youth Academy product, promoted from under-17s. Has battled back after tough season with injury.

Josh McCready (Left-back, 18): Attacking left back who will support the frontmen at every opportunity. Set piece specialist.

Ryan Agnew (centre-back, 19): Tough defender who wears his heart on his sleeve, Unfortunately will miss final with serious knee injury.

Leon Bonnes (Midfielder, 19): Exceptonal in the air and reads the game very well. Always weighs in with vital goals.

Jake McNeill (Midfielder, 18): A regular in the reserves, he has also been brought into first team squad by David Jeffrey.

Jonny Logan (Centre-back/midfield): Footballing defender, who has developed into one of the most consistent players.

Scott Hamilton (Midfielder, 19): Tough tackling midfielder with quick feet who had a long term injury but is now getting back to his best.

Kyle Crawford (Centre-back, 19): Team captain, who made his first team debut against Coleraine earlier this season,

Ben Kerr (Right-back, 19): Another cruciate injury victim, he has been helping out with the team on matchdays.

Adam McCracken (Left-back/left wing, 18): Signed from Crusaders this season and has recently returned from action with Northern Ireland under-18s.

Philip Maybin (Striker, 17): Kells-based players promoted after scoring regularly for under-17s.

Stewart Nixon (Striker/winger, 19): Player whose excellent work ethic has seen him make handful of first team appearances.

Bradley Cairns (Striker, 16); Signed in January from Wakehurst and has already played in Championship Two.

David Woods (Striker, 19): Old-fashioned centre-forward who unfortunately will miss final due to broken foot.

Ciaran Dobbin (Midfielder/winger, 18): Extremely creative footballer who can beat his opponent in a heartbeat.

Thomas Campbell (Right-back/winger): Another promoted frm under-17s, he has had several starts in recent weeks.

Jack Campbell (Right-back, 17): Joined in pre-season from Limavady and has been a regular all season.

Adam Neilly (Right-back/right wing, 15): Promoted from under-16s and has taken to higher standard like a duck to water.

Mark Lowry (Winger, 17): Mainstay in the team, equally happy on either wing.

Andrew Smyth (Striker, 15): Pacey striker brought up from under-16s and hasn’t looked back.
