BALLYMENA Midweek Park made the short trip to Mossley last Wednesday night in the second match of their NIPGL Midweek League Division 1 campaign, however they were well beaten and returned home without a single point after a 73-47 defeat.

The match on rink 1 was a close affair with Roy Kernohan, Liam Lyness, Paul Davidson and Billy Scullion in action against S Saulters.

There were never more than 4 shots in the game with the lead changing hands on several occasions. The scores were level at 15-15 going in to the last end but it was the Mossley rink who claimed victory when they picked up a count of 6 shots to register a 21-15 win.
