MILK CUP ACTION BEGINS IN BOROUGH

THE Northern Ireland Milk Cup is well underway - with both Ballymena and Broughshane playing their part in the world-famous youth football tournament.

Local fans have already flocked to both venues, with the highlight so far being an eight-gaol thriller between Northern Ireland and Chile in the Elite section.

Two bumper crowds are guaranteed at the Showgrounds today as firstly Liverpool and later Manchester United - two clubs with massive fanbases in Ballymena and across the Province - play matches at the Warden Street venue.
