Moneyslane look forward to new season

Moneyslane FC are looking forward to the new season 2013/13, with the season kicking off for the first team in the Mid-Ulster Intermediate ‘B’ on Saturday August 10.

There are three new entries this season into Intermediate ‘B’, making it a 14 tier Division, with Newry City AFC, Dungannon Tigers and St Marys from Portadown, joining the league.

Moneyslane Firsts have been drawn out in Round Two of the Marshal Cup at home against Lurgan Town.

The Reserves will kick off on Saturday September 7 in the Mid-Ulster Reserve Three Division and they have the added attraction of a home and away fixture against local rivals Rathfriland, who were promoted from Division Four.

The Thirds will play in the Newcastle and District League Division Three and they will kick off on Saturday September 7. The Thirds team’s Division has still to be confirmed

The Under 18s enter a new phase of their playing career and will play this season in the Mid-Ulster Juvenile Division Two League. The kick off dates have yet to be confirmed but manager Gareth Bingham and Mark Ervine are raring to get started.

The Junior Section will play the Under 13s in the Carnbane League Newry this incoming season.

The Under 7s, and two Under 8s teams will play in the Craigavon/Banbridge Games Development Centres.

The Under 11s will play in the Newry & Mourne Games Development Centres.
