Moneyslane ready for the battle of the Mournes in Cup Semi Final

Get along to Jubilee Park this Wednesday for the special Alan Wilson Cup Semi Final.

Moneyslane FC will take on Valley Rangers FC in the Alan Wilson Cup Semi Final this Wednesday April 29, 6.30pm kick off, Jubilee Park, Moneyslane.

The winners will play in the Final at Moneyslane’s old home from home for three seasons, 6.45pm kick off, Friday May 15, Crystal Park, Banbridge Town FC

Come and watch the game with a magnificent backdrop of the Mourne Mountains.

If you”ve never been to your local family football club you will be made very warmly welcome.

Their cracking BAWA Diner will be fully open on Wednesday from 6pm serving burgers and chips and if you prefer you can watch the game in the viewing lounge and homely social club fully open until 11pm.

The road to the O’Hara Cup final

The fact that makes this season so remarkable is that last season 2013-14 Moneyslane reached the O’Hara Cup Final, only narrowly losing to Championship bound Dollingstown FC Reserves, who won promotion with five games left to spare and won the league with four games left to spare.
