Moneyslane treasure hunt

MONEYSLANE FC would like to thank all those who supported the treasure hunt and steak BBQ last Saturday night at the New Pitch Development where over 350 turned out to wine and dine on what was a very successful night for both the club and the local Community.

Big thanks from the club goes to all those who roamed the countryside looking for answers in the treasure hunt. The winner was Robert Hanna and the club would like to thank Robert for his generosity for sponsoring the club on the night as well as a big thanks to Stephen Hanna who organised the treasure hunt.

The club would also like to thank Tirana Cochrane who sponsored the jar of sweets - the winner of this prize was Nigel Fry.

Well done to Alison Blakely who won the signed Ulster Rugby jersey and a big thanks to Ian Griffith from Barnsley, Dave Horton and Dave Bevan from Scarborough who kindly sponsored the shirt with the help of Elaine Copes.

Thanks to Gareth McDowell for the music on the night and to all the helpers from the Committee and their wives who made the night possible working hard behind the scenes.

Special mention to Bobby Fee for his generosity and kindness and the Mace, Rathfriland for the use of the bouncy castle which kept the kids amused throughout the night.

The steaks, burgers and sausages was supplied by Raymond McCullough Butchers, Rathfriland and they went down a treat and the Club would like to thank Raymond for all his help.
