Another player returning to Wakehurst for a second stint is midfielder Lee McCaughern, who spent last season with Saturday Morning League side Galgorm Blues.

The third new arrival is left-back Kurtis McCartney, who joins from Ballymena United’s youth team, where he was named Player of the Year last season.

Muir also ran his eye over the young players in Wakehurst’s reserve side as they beat Saturday Morning League side Braid United 3-1 in a friendly on Saturday.
