Northend sides back in pre-season action

Fielding no less than twelve youth teams for the incoming football season, ranging in age from U8 to U16, all the Northend United teams got back to pre-season training last night (Monday).

Training takes place at Ballymena Showgrounds on Mondays and Wednesday nights during the month of August as follows:

U8s, U9s and U10s – Showgrounds 3 from 6.00am to 7.30pm

U11s and U12s – Showgrounds 6 from 6.00am to 7.30pm

U14s, U15s – Showgrounds 6 from 7.30pm to 9.00pm

U13s, U16s – Showgrounds 3 from 7.30pm to 9.00pm

With a number of additions already to each of the teams, following a series of successful Open nights, everyone is looking forward to a super season that sees five of the Teams competing in the Lisburn Invitational Youth League, U12s, U13s, U14s, U15s and U16s, and the seven youngest teams in the small sided games environment of the North West and Coleraine and District Youth League and Ballymoney Friendship League.

The ambitious Northend United Club are always on the lookout for new talented players and coaching assistants for each of their youth teams and with their partnership with Wakehurst FC, the Club can offer the benefits of Irish League football.

As always, training will be supervised at all times by IFA qualified coaches, with all the younger teams being coached by Coerver qualified coaches, and everyone will be made to feel most welcome
