Northend United Youth FC round-up: Blues boys in seventh heaven

IN a weekend when three of the Northend team’s matches fell victim to waterlogged pitches, it was the U12s who continued with their recent fine form, beating Cavehill Colts by a 7-1 scoreline to maintain their top of the table position.

In the North West and Coleraine and District Youth League, the U9s and U10s scored notable wins over their Derby rivals, Ballymoney Youth Academy, with the U9s winning 6-1 and the U10s coming out on top in a five goal thriller.

Finally, the U11s lost to Magherafelt Sky Blues in a match where finishing was again their downfall.
