Northend United Youth FC round-up: U-11s storm to top spot


These results lead everyone within the Club to believe this will be their most successful year to date.
Performance of the Week goes to Paul Lecky’s U11s who beat Upper Ardoyne Juniors to go clear at the top of the League, with one game in hand.

Hide AdElsewhere in the Belfast and East Antrim League, the U12s lost their match against Carnmoney Colts whilst the U13s turned in a team-like performance to defeat current League leaders, Comber Rec, 3-1 in the Shield competition.
Sean Carberry’s U14s continued their recent good form with a 3-1 win over Chimney Corner.
Glen Speirs U15s won 2-0 against Glendowan in the Top Four Shield Competition to head up this Mini League format and Johnny Sayers’ U16s conceded a late equaliser against Irish League Club Carrick Rangers Academy’s side.
In the Coleraine and District League, The Blues U9s came up against a bigger and stronger Bertie Peacock’s U10 team before eventually losing 4-0.
