Northend United Youth FC round-up: Under-12s crowned champions

AS the football season begins to wind down, it was the turn of newly crowned League Champions, Northend U12s, to continue their winning streak on Saturday by beating Newington Youths 3-0 at Smithfield in their final League match of the season.

Elsewhere the U10s lost to Bertie Peacock’s 1-2 in an U11 Plate match in midweek.

On Friday night the Football Development Centre continued indoors at the Ballymena North Centre due to the inclement weather. They were joined this week by the U8 team, whose matches in the Ballymoney Friendship league were cancelled due to the inclement weather.

A number of matches have been arranged for the incoming week with both National League and Belfast and East Antrim League Cup games being scheduled.
