Northend United Youth FC round-up: Weekend to forget for Blues sides

A DISAPPOINTING weekend of results saw a number of the older Northend teams lose to some quality opposition, in the form of Glentoran, Glenavon and St Oliver Plunketts.

In the North West and Coleraine League, the U9s had to settle for a share of the points in their derby match with Carniny after dominating for long periods of the game.

The U11s also had to settle for a share of the points, after a super performance, in their 1-1 draw with Institute.

Also in the North West, the U10s lost their top of the table clash with Bertie Peacocks in a bruising performance.

The Football Development Centre continued on Friday night with almost forty boys and girls in attendance and Dare to be Different continued on Wednesday night at the Ballymena North Centre.
