Northend United Youth FC: Sweet for ‘16s’ in weekend win.

NORTHEND United U16s turned in another memorable performance at the weekend when they beat Glendowan 4-2 in the Elite National League.

In the Belfast and East Antrim Youth League, the U12s maintained their top of the table position when they beat Carnmoney FDC in a 7-1 scoreline on Saturday.

The U14s lost to Ballinamallard in the Northern Ireland Boys Cup while the U13s had no match at the weekend.

The U11s entertained a combined Larne Youth U11s /U12s to the Clough MUGA on Friday night in a Friendly match in preparation for the recommencement of the League next week. Although losing 3-1, the Wee Blues saw a number of shots come off the Larne posts in this entertaining display, played before a large crowd of spectators.

The U9s also played Larne Youth in a series of Friendly matches at the Showgrounds on Saturday morning, as they prepare for the recommencement of the North West and Coleraine and District Youth League at the end of the month.
