ARDMORE were the days biggest winners in the Matt Morrison Junior Cup when they scored ten without reply at Coleraine White Eagles.

In the Waterside derby the improving Caw defeated Irish Street 4-2 after extra time. First Division leaders Claudy Rovers had a 3-0 win at Glendermott, while Strabane Athletic travelled to Roe Rovers Reserves and won 4-1.

It’s back to league action this Saturday with four games in the Premier Division.

Newbuildings United Res v Ardmore

The home side had a good win in the Junior Cup last week but they must start winning league games to get themselves away from the relegation zone, their big problem is getting a settled side out regularly.

Ardmore scored 10 last week although the opposition was pretty poor, however they have been producing excellent performances all season and that should continue here.

Prediction: Ardmore.

Caw v Drummond

Caw will feel if they can maintain their Premier league status this season then that will be a job well done, however they still harbour thoughts of a top six finish.

Drummond are away behind in fixtures and they haven’t played since before Christmas, their Junior cup tie last week was abandoned, this should give the home side the edge.

Prediction: Caw.

City Colts v Lincoln Courts

The Colts have had two excellent results in their last two outings, they play some excellent football and have a number of very useful players, they are also scoring plenty of goals.

The Courts have been steadily moving up the table but look to be to far behind to mount a challenge for the title however they will want a top four finish at least.

Prediction: Score Draw.

BBOB v Tullyally Colts

The Old Boys won’t be taking their opponents lightly, with their investment in new players they will feel if they don’t win a trophy then it will have been a poor season.

Tullyally can mix it with the best of them as they have shown in some of their results recently, there is always a good rivalry when these two meet which should add a bit of spice to the game.

Prediction: BBOB.
