The visitors dominated possession for the opening 15 minutes but couldn’t break down the Foyle Wanderers defence, before the home side started to come more and more into the game.

Olphert opened his account for the day when he was played through by Andrew Hetherington, he beat a defender and finished well.

The home side had a great chance just before half-time to make it 2-0 but Andrew McNeely narrowly pulled it wide.

Just after the break Trojans again had much of the possession until Ben Thompson played a long ball into Olphert who instantly controlled and and volleyed past the keeper from the edge of the box.

This lifted Foyle Wanderers but Trojans still had most of the possession and created a few good chances but Conor Olphert pulled off some fine stops.

Then in the 80th minute Olphert completed his hat-trick with a fine headed goal to complete the scoring.
