At the other end of the table Drummond got an important point as they held Ardmore scoreless.

Congratulations are in
order for Ardmore Res. While their first team have struggled this season by their usual high standards, their second string side have impressed and on Saturday Joe Cregan’s men won the Supplementary Cup beating Donemana Res 4-1 at Wilton Park.

There are two games tomorrow (Thursday) night with just the one fixture in the Premier Division scheduled for Saturday.

Thursday

Newbuildings Utd Res v BBOB

The home side may include a few of their first team in this fixture. They haven’t won a game for quite a while, have plummeted down the table and they probably can’t wait for the season to end.

The Old Boys see the finishing line in sight, but they will have to keep their concentration firmly fixed on the big prize, this could be close but Don Olphert’s side have more to play for.

Prediction: BBOB.

Drummond v Tullyally

Chris Moore’s Limavady side got an important point last week, and although that result will have given them a bit of confidence, they still need to get a couple of victories.

Tullyally played well against the champions elect last Saturday and they will continue their quest for a top four finish. However they may not be at full strength due to work commitments.

Prediction: Score draw.

Saturday

Newbuildings Utd Res v Lincoln Courts

After playing the league leaders on Thursday night the home side now face second in the table Lincoln. The Courts are continuing to keep the pressure on the leaders and will not give up the fight until it is mathematically impossible.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.
