Patterson brace inspires City win

Derry took the lead on 38 minutes when Barry McNamee’s in-swinging corner was turned into his own net by Alan Byrne, before Patterson scored the first of his two goals just after the hour mark to give the visitors a 2-0 lead.
But Mick Cooke’s side scored twice inside a minute with Declan O’Brien heading home Gavin Brennan’s corner, before the substitute added a second when he volleyed home from close range.
